ELIZABETH EGHAN

ex-medical student > Customer Success Specialist

As a student, understanding the patient's experience fascinated me. To learn more, I did a research project on patient-doctor shared decision making. We learned that mothers giving birth via c-section want to be involved in choosing their pain medications. Later on, my school offered an elective UX course. I loved it! I left medicine in search of new paths to create special experiences for people in need.

Helping patients access expensive prescriptions with IQVIA was rewarding. However, I kept UX-ing by mistake. I spent time outside of work making a click-through prototype on PowerPoint. The flow helped my coworkers troubleshoot pharmacy billing errors on adjudication software. Soon after, I started looking up UX Design programs.

After completing my UX Design training, I worked as a UX Teaching Assistant and Onboarding Specialist. These roles deepened my appreciation of the product development process. I am excited to combine my research, customer success, and UX skills to support clients.
